The ‘Milford Haven: Energy Kingdom’ project (MH: EK) explores what a decarbonized, smart local energy system could look like for the cargo port communities of Milford Haven, Pembroke, and Pembroke Dock. The £4.5 million project has a strong focus on green hydrogen, using our AEM Electrolyzers as part of a refueling station for two hydrogen-powered RASA cars from the Welsh company Riversimple. Alongside this, MH: EK includes a hydrogen-ready smart hybrid heating system and aims to demonstrate how green H2 and renewable energy can provide a scalable roadmap to decarbonization, as well as stimulate local growth and job creation.
